Dicyclomine HCl 10mg and Simethicone 40mg Suspension – Cyclofine Suspension is a medicine made from two drugs, Dicyclomine and Simethicone, that helps relieve stomach cramps and belly pain. Stomach cramps can happen due to muscle strain, not drinking enough water, gas in the stomach, or certain bowel diseases. Dicyclomine is a medicine that helps by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and intestines. It stops sudden muscle tightness (spasms), helping to ease stomach cramps and pain. Simethicone is a medicine that helps break down gas bubbles in the body, making it easier to pass gas.

Uses of Dicyclomine HCl and Simethicone Suspension

• Dicyclomine and Simethicone suspension is made up of the two drugs named Dicyclomine, which is an antispasmodic and Simethicone, which is an anti-foaming agent. This combinational medicine is primely used to treat the abdominal spasmodic pain, stomach pain, bloating, and general pain-related discomfort of the lower abdomen in kids.
• Being an antispasmodic medicine, Dicyclomine helps in treating pain and spasm by relaxing the muscles of the kids and blocking the chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain.
• On the other hand, simethicone is widely used to treat bloating and real gas more easily. This is the beneficial suspension for children, as it helps reduce abdominal pain.

Precautions to use for Dicyclomine HCl and Simethicone Suspension

• If you are allergic to Dicyclomine and Simethicone suspension or you are taking any prescribed and non prescribed drugs then tell your doctor.
• Before taking Dicyclomine and Simethicone suspension, tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, irregular heartbeat, gastroesophageal reflux, muscle disease, hypertension, etc, to avoid the advesre effects of the medicines.
• In case your child is suffereing from diarrhoea, then consult with your doctor before givem them Dicyclomine and Simethicone suspension.

Directions to use for Dicyclomine HCl and Simethicone Suspension

Give your child the Dicyclomine HCl and Simethicone Suspension by mouth before a meal, or as directed by the doctor. Your child’s doctor might give this medicine for a few days to several days. However, don’t use it for more than 2 weeks without talking to the doctor because using it too much for a long time could harm your child. Also, don’t suddenly stop the medicine on your own, as it could make your child’s symptoms come back or make them worse.
